I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Indigenous Social Work (mental health focus), dedicated to supporting individuals, families, and communities through healing, growth, and connection. My work is grounded in compassion, cultural safety, and the belief that every person has the capacity to reconnect with their strengths, resilience, and inner wisdom.
I aim to create a welcoming environment for people from all backgrounds, with an emphasis on culturally informed, trauma-aware care.
My path into this work began in Registered Nursing, where I developed a strong foundation in healthcare. However, I quickly realized that I was being called toward a more holistic, culturally grounded way of supporting others. This led me to Indigenous Social Work, where I found a framework that honors the whole person and aligns deeply with my values.
As an Indigenous woman, I have faced—and overcome—many obstacles. These experiences have shaped my identity, strengthened my resilience, and given me firsthand insight into many of the challenges my clients navigate. They continue to guide me in offering compassion, authenticity, and connection to those who walk through my door.
I specialize in supporting clients through a wide range of experiences, including:
Addictions
Anxiety & depression
Trauma & intergenerational trauma
Grief & loss
Low self-esteem
ADHD
Boundaries & relationship challenges
Compassion fatigue & burnout
Individual and group crisis response
Holistic health & chronic illness
I use a blend of therapeutic approaches tailored to each person’s unique needs. These include:
Person-Centered Therapy
Motivational Interviewing
Somatic Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Polyvagal Theory
Indigenous Ways of Knowing
In my practice, I often integrate the Medicine Wheel into initial assessments to understand the full picture of a client’s mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. I value warmth, humor, and creating a space where clients feel seen and supported.
I provide counseling for:
Teens (16+)
Adults
Elders
Families
Couples
Healing is not a linear path, and you do not have to walk it alone. My role is to support you with respect, empathy, and a culturally safe space where your story matters. Whether you are seeking guidance, clarity, healing, or simply a place to be heard, I am here to walk alongside you.
